Village Ventures Partnership
Our partnership with Village Ventures is a critical element of our strategy. Most smaller, regionally oriented funds struggle to some degree with the limitations of their small scale. Village Ventures directly addresses this challenge by partnering with fourteen funds across the country, including High Peaks, to create a cooperative network that brings national scale and presence to each individual fund. Through our relationship with Village Ventures and our sister funds across their national network, we have access to a range of resources, expertise, and relationships that is unmatched by any but the largest venture firms in the country. We frequently utilize that network to introduce prospects or portfolio companies to potential business partners, customers, advisors, and employees. These connections help us make better decisions, and help the companies we work with to grow their businesses.
In addition, the scale of the Village Ventures Network, in aggregate, helps us all to gain better leverage in working with business partners, attracting the attention of service providers, and developing relationships with financing partners and exit opportunities.
There is over $500MM managed collectively across the Village Ventures Network. In addition, strategic relationships with Highland Capital Partners, Bain Capital, Sandler Capital, and Janus add to the strength of that network. In short, the Village Ventures Network enables High Peaks to bring the resources of a large, national-scale fund to bear to help each opportunity we consider and each company we partner with.
